Blue LED Lights

These lights give the aquarium a fluorescent look, which brings out the magical world of fishes. It looks especially good when placed in a dark space as the lights make it look like the fishes are glowing too. The lights fall in such a way that the fishes reflect it and seem to glow.

Ornaments

If you wish to add on to the glow of the tank and make it more vibrant, these playful ornaments will help you achieve that. We were totally in love with these beautiful objects of varying sizes, which could be kept at the bottom of the fish tank.

This also adds to the personality and the multitude of colors. The kit includes 3 GloFish(R) plants and GloFish(R) yellow anemone, which enhance the elegance of this beautiful marine world.

Tetra Whisper Internal Filter

There is a filter included in the pack itself which cleanses water inside the tank. We tried this for a while and found that this filter is better than others that we have used previously.

It keeps the water cleaner for longer and we do not have to keep changing it too often. So, it effectively saves a lot of time and effort, while keeping our fishes happy.

Detailed Setup Guide

This is a critical addition to the GloFish kit. Without a proper setup guide, you will not be able to figure out the installation process. Make sure you read it thoroughly, especially the warnings, to avoid making any mistakes.

We could set it up correctly in the second chance, but you will be able to do it at one go if you follow the instructions carefully. For any additional help, there are tutorial videos online, which will give you a visual demonstration of the process.

Tetra(R) Mini UL Heater

A heater is required for the fishes to live comfortably. Most fishes are used to a specific temperature and often die when placed in cold water for too long. If you have an air conditioner in your room working full time, the water may become very cold. The heater will prevent such issues and will keep the water temperature perfect for your fishes.

What Could’ve Been Better?

We were delighted with the kit as a whole and were able to buy fishes the very next day, considering all our initial requirements were provided.

The only additional thing we wanted was an adequate amount of fish water conditioner. The amount was just enough to get our tank started, but we needed to buy it immediately to keep the fish alive.

It is always easier if you can buy all your requirements together rather than buying every item separately. With GloFish Aquarium Kit, we were delighted because it provided us with everything we need to get the aquarium operational. The only things needed were fishes and food. You can keep adding in decor elements, but all your requirements are already met with.
